Committees in the Association function on three levels; standing, task force, and ad-hoc. Standing Committees are constitutionally charged. They are permanent, recommend policy, monitor practice and provide direction in their charged area of function within the National Association. Task Forces are appointed by the National President to study and develop strategies to solve a specific problem; they may also assist in the implementation of solutions. Ad-Hoc Committees are appointed by the National President. These Committees are temporary in nature, and are designed to study and/or solve specific immediate problems.
