Catina Anderson
National Member-At-Large
Catina Anderson received her Bachelor’s Degree in social work at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee and her Master’s Degree at the Indiana University School of Social Work at IUPUI. Catina currently has her License in Social Work and a C-SAY-C credential which stands for Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician.
Catina is currently employed as a Local Office Director in Marion County with the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS). She is responsible for managing an office of over 90 staff.
Catina has worked in the social work field since 1998 and has served in various capacities including residential counselor, foster care case worker, DCS family case manager, DCS Supervisor, Mentor, and her current role as Local Office Director.
Catina is also very active in the community and for the past 4 years has served as President of the Central Indiana Association of Black Social Workers (CIABSW). Catina was recently elected as the Member-at-Large of the National Association of Black Social Workers and is a member of the Indiana Disproportionality Committee as well as various other committees.
Catina lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and attending church.
