Position Papers are academically-based
articles created and supported by the National Association of Black Social
Workers, Inc., to address policy and practice issues as they pertain to the
African American community. Position Papers provide mandates for best
practice for human service professionals and organizations providing services
to African American individuals, families, and communities
Position Papers are written on the topics:
- Position Paper on Southern Africa
- Preserving African American Families
- Domestic Violence in the African
- Preserving Families of African Ancestry
This collection is frequently updated
as new Position Papers are written to address the needs of African American
communities. All Position Papers have been approved by the National
Steering Committee, NABSW's voting body.
